Bollards
We custom-produce optimised and packaged LEDs to fit into traffic and pedestrian bollards. We offer a full range of colours and even feature a RGB option to provide colour- changing properties. Our bollard LEDs are sealed in a one-piece assembly for ease of installation and to provide waterproof protection.
Automotive displays and LED Mirrors
We offer a whole range of automotive displays and LED applications. Of course directional indicators built into door mirrors is nothing new, but Selectronic now offer custom-made LED assemblies specifically tailored to this application. We’re currently producing LEDs in outer casings as well as epoxy-mounted LED packages denoting directional arrow heads for car door mirrors.
Point of Sale
LED lightstrips can bring clear optical enhancement to the world of retail shelving. You can select the LED strips to be correctly orientated to your product display by optimising wavelength, viewing angle and brightness. We also offer printed cicuit board assemblies with built-in integrated circuits for current stabilisation. This is high-performance point of sale lighting enhancement available from Selectronic.
DAB Radios
LCD screens with excellent resolution and wide angle viewing characteristics are now a feature of the latest generation of Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) radios and well thought-out and designed custom options can differentiate DAB products even further. Boats
LEDs are establishing themselves in the marine market as the preferred choice due to their robust construction and low power consumption. For navigation and external lighting their long life of 50,000 hours makes LEDs a good choice, resolving maintenance and failure concerns. Selectronic work with a number of players in the marine lighting market to produce custom LED solutions for this highly specialist market.
Sat Nav
Small size TFTs are now well established in the automotive display and satellite navigation markets. By adding particular viewing characteristics and switching functions, the form and function of our automotive displays can be even further enhanced. Supported by a state of the art TFT production facility, Selectronic are well placed to assist in the development of both after market and original fitment TFT displays.
Credit Card Readers
We offer a number of key components including custom LCD displays, keymats and rubber rollers for receipt paper print drives. New developments in TFT products are heralding the next generation of product screens, potentially also incorporating touch screens, so Selectronic can fully support the design and enhancement of payment terminals.
